Nina Ward

Nina Ward Nina Ward, age 77, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 07, 2011 at her residence. She was a native of Flint, Michigan, born on December 18, 1933 to the late Francis and Ethel Parker Harp. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Louis L. Harp. Nina retired from interior designing. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church but had also attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Nina is survived by her husband, Jack Ward; daughters: Loraine Beymer of Winterhaven, FL, Gloria Kirshman and husband Scott and Valerie Duncan and husband Dennis, all of Linden, MI and Angie Little of Elizabethton, TN; sons, Claude Smith and wife Carolyn of Winterhaven, FL, Desi Ward and wife Angie of Mountain City, TN and Mark Ward of Shady Valley, TN; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Norman to officiate.
