Hetty Gross Murphy, borne of the rugged beauty of south eastern Kentuckys, Leslie and Harlan Counties. Lacking in formative educations, but imbued with the desire to succeed, from a day laborer in the vegetable fields of Arizona, to the cotton fields of Texas, a succession of trials and tribulations to numerous to mention.
