Ruth Virginia Nichols Jardin

Ruth Virginia Nichols Jardin, age 84, of Chuckey, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Durham-Hensley Health and Rehabilitation, Chuckey, Tennessee. Ruth was born on May 31, 1927 in Johnson County, TN to the late William Arthur Nichols and Bonnie Dickens Nichols. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Jardin and Wade C. Miller; a son, Wade C. Miller, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law Edna and Olson Osborne; two brothers: John Nichols and Bill Nichols and a daughter-in-law, Linda Miller. Ruth loved to travel and enjoyed helping others, especially her family and friends. Ruth is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diana (Miller) and Gary Heath of Greenville, TN; four sons and daughters-in-law: Larry R. and Connie Miller of Hemingway, SC, Ralph E. Miller of Butler, TN, Earl and Denise Miller and Terry R. Miller, all of Coatesville, PA; sisters: Mildred Graybeal of Mountain City, TN and Lois Hagans and husband Danny of Coatesville, PA; one brother, William Arthur Nichols, Jr. and wife Dorothy of Mountain City, TN; daughter-in-law, Barbara Miller of Coatesville, PA; grandchildren: Wade, Kim, Dawne, Larry Jr, Kelly, Bob, Adam, Denise, Michele, Dianne, Justin, Jeffrey, Jason, Michael, Lee, Kim, Chris and Shannon; twenty-four great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Manuel to officiate. The committal service and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers are Staff of Durham-Hensley Nursing Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of son, Ralph Miller, 239 Pine Orchard Road, Butler, TN 37640.
