Scottie Wayne Stout, age 40, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly due to heart problems on Monday, June 20, 2011. He was born on July 11, 1970 to Bob Stout and Pearl Greer Stout. Scottie is survived by his wife, Amanda White Stout; mother, Pearl Stout; father, Bob Stout and wife Carla; daughter, Piper Ainsley Stout; sons: Gauge Greer Stout and Richard Rowan Stout; sisters: Wilma Bragg, Kathy Stout and husband Dennis, Debbie Scott and fiancé Ray Jones; Shelia Billings and husband David; brother, Rick Stout, all of Mountain City, TN; half-brothers: Tim Stout, Jeremy Stout and Mitch Stout; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Nancy White; sister-in-law, Jessica and husband David Dishman; step-sister, Sandra Porter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Ray Slemp and Pastor Bob Stout to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Greer Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Chucky Scott, Richard Norris, Gary Norris, Randy Howard, Jeff Dunn, Mitchell Keen, David Dishman and Jackie Harless. Honorary Pallbearers are: Rick Stout, Richard White, Rob Barnhill, David Billings, Ray Jones, Dennis Stout, Millard Norris, Jacob Norris and Tim Stout. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Amanda Stout, 1720 Hwy 421 North, Mountain City, TN 37683. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Scottie's mother, Pearl Stout, 1720 Hwy 421 North, Mountain City, TN 37683.
