Wesley Keith Stout, age 48, of 129 Draft Rd., Butler, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at his residence. He was born on November 4,1962 in Carter County, TN to the late D.W. Stout and Polly Jean Proffitt Day, who passed away June 4, 2011. He was a member of Sink Valley Baptist Church. Wesley was a loving husband, father, Bop-Bop and father-in-law. He was an honest hard working man and was a wonderful son to a mother that loved and cherished him. She was the main reason he was the man we all knew. He worked for almost 7 years with Billy Stout Construction where he really enjoyed working with the crew. For the most part Wesley was a fun and happy person. He liked to ride horses, go fishing, have cookouts with his family and friends, and all the times he played ball with his boys will never be forgotten. Through thick and thin Wesley was married for 23 years to his loving wife Samantha Potter Stout; two boys, Cody Keith Stout and Amos Keith Stout and fiancé Summer Carroll: loving granddaughter Emilynn Paige Stout and four sisters that loved him with all their hearts and will miss their "Bro" but knew it was just his time to go: Carolyn Stout and partner Randall Chandler, Lana Barnes and husband Mike, Deborah Day, and Sherry Grindstaff; seven nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Special friends: Richard and Carolyn Dugger, Tracy Arnold, Jamie Osborne Steven Dunn, John Carroll, Randall Chandler, and Tiffany Minks. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2:00p.m. with the Rev. Tim Tapp to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow the funeral service at Rainbow Cemetery . Pallbearers will be: Tracy Arnold, Eric Roark, Stephen Dunn, John Carroll, Daniel Harper, Jeremy Mays, Jamie Osborne, and Mike Grayson. Honorary pallbearers: Dr. Jai Shankar and staff members and his Hospice Nurses. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 129 Draft Road, Butler TN 37640.
