Faye Hodge

Faye Hodge Faye Hodge, age 90, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on July 1, 2011 at her residence. She was born on August 21, 1920 to the late Abraham Lincoln and Clara Snyder Hodge. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by two sisters: Vena Hodge and Pauline Marrs and two brothers: Sam Hodge and Lester Hodge. Faye loved to garden, cook and also enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She was a member of First Christian Church. Faye is survived by sisters: Bess Hagy of Bluff City, TN; Shirley Farmer of Concord, NC; brother, Gar Hodge of Mountain City, TN; special niece, Mary Jenkins and husband Larry; niece, Diane Jones; special great nieces: Mandy Rhymer and Holly Rhymer; great-great niece, Marley Belle Snyder; great-great nephew, B.J. Barlow; special friend and caregiver, Rebecca Falls; special friend, Tonya Townsend and son, Dalton; her pet rabbit, Cindy Lou and several other nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Service and Interment was conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Doug Stidham officiating.
