Dennis Crowder Dennis Crowder, age 43, of Bristol, Virginia and formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Dennis was born in Newark Delaware on June 18, 1968 to Hyte Crowder and Betty Potter Crowder. He was a member of Nelson's Chapel Baptist Church and had attended First Baptist Church, both of Mountain City. In addition to his parents, Hyte Crowder of Bristol, VA and Betty Crowder of Mountain City, TN, Dennis is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m with Dr. Bobby Griffith and Rev. Ricky Campbell to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Reece Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Dennis' mother, Betty Crowder, 217 Reece Avenue, Mountain City, TN 37683.
