Virginia M. Lewis

Virginia M. Lewis, age 82, of Kirkwood, DE, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Virginia was a long time member of Fairwinds Baptist Curch. She enjoyed trips to the Smokey Mountains, keeping in touch with friends and reading. Most of all Virginia was a beloved wife, loving mother and adored grandmother. Virginia's memory will be cherished by her husband of 62 years, William E. Lewis; 2 sons, Edward and wife Sherry, and Donald and wife Cheryl; and 6 grandchildren: Jennifer, Don and wife Allison, Rebecca and husband Shawn, Melissa, Timothy, and Jonathan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alphia and Giles Sage; and 3 brothers: James, Bill and Robert Sage. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. - 12 noon at the Fairwinds Baptist Church, 801 Seymour Road, Bear, DE 19701 followed by a service in celebration of Virginia's life at 12 noon.
