Rodney Osborne

Rodney Osborne, age 50, of Charlotte, North Carolina and formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 16, 1961 to the late Edgar Ray Osborne and Gladys June Sexton Osborne. Prior to his illness, Rodney worked as a Senior Electric Designer. He was a United States Navy Veteran. Rodney is survived by his son, Jesse Osborne of Kingsport, TN; sisters: Shelly Osborne of Wilkesboro, NC and Keri Osborne of Hudson, NC; brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry and Margie Osborne of Johnson City, TN and Steve and Judy Osborne of Speedway, IN, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Bowers and Brother Larry Osborne officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
