Angela Annie' Campbell, age 40, of Burnsville, North Carolina, and formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on September 7, 2011. She was born on August 23, 1971 to Robert W. and Norma Kay Stanton Pennington of Mountain City, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Bill Pennington; maternal grandparents, Kemp D. and Mollie Dugger Stanton and uncles: Paul Pennington, Richard Stanton and Park Stanton. In addition to her parents, Annie is survived by her sons: Dan Campbell and Joseph Campbell; paternal grandmother, Carrie Pennington; aunts, Elma Ruth Stanton and Cassie Pennington; special cousin, Tammy Stanton; special friend, Ernie Cannon; many more cousins and special friends. The family will receive friends from 11-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Ray Greene and Rev. Charles Cable to officiate. Graveside service and interment will follow at the Campbell Cemetery, located off of hwy 321 Butler, Tennessee. Active pallbearers will be Annie's sons, Dan and Joseph Campbell and friends, Johnny Hartley, Corey Crumley, Chris Roberts and Dennis Campbell. Honorary pallbearer is Travis Potter.
