Annette W. Thompson

Annette "Ann" Wheeler Warner Thompson, age 87 of Aberdeen, NC, died peacefully Sunday October 23, 2011 at her daughter's home in Mountain City, TN. Mrs. Thompson was born June 12, 1924 in Newark, NJ; she was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church and retired from BB&T. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Aberdeen Chapter #259, a former board member of the Moore County Library, former Board of Director of Malcolm Blue Historical Society, and the first Secretary of the Moore County Republican Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband C. Coolidge Thompson and her son Thomas C. Thompson. Ann is survived by her son Ronald W. Thompson of Wendell, NC; daughters: Susan T. Adams of Seven Lakes, NC and Sylvia T. Silverberg of Mountain City, TN; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday October 27, 2011 at Bethesda Cemetery in Aberdeen with Rev. Martin Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-7:30 pm on October 26, 2011 at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children 950 W.
