Rick E. Arnold

Rick Arnold, age 45, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. He was born on July 15, 1966 to Bertha Tester Wilcox and the late Jesse Arnold. In addition to his father, Rick was preceded in death by his stepfather, Taft Wilcox and four brothers. Rick enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his mother, Bertha Wilcox of Mountain City, TN, Rick is survived by daughter, Jessica Arnold; sons: Justin Arnold and Derick Arnold, all of Mountain City, TN; sisters: Rosy Prince of Mountain City, TN and Hazel Winters of West Grove, PA; several step brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steven Spencer and Pastor Rick Thomason to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Greene Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, TN 37683. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Rick's mother, Bertha Wilcox, 850 Wilcox Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.
