Norma J. Newton

Norma J. Newton, of Bluff City, TN passed away on November 17, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 4, 1946 in Mountain City, TN a daughter of the late Windem and Lena Campbell Arnold, and had lived most of her life in the Bristol area. Norma was a former employee of Mitchell-Powers, and part owner of the Parkway Conoco Food Mart. She was a member of Fellowship Chapel. She is survived by her husband of 32 years: Kenneth Newton; daughters: Rebecca Denman and husband Marcus, and Jessica Whiteaker and husband Chris; brother: Bud Arnold and wife Helen; sister: Ileen Breeding and husband Doug and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, November 19, 2011 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Price officiating. The burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 11am to 12:45pm.
