Gladys Justice Hansen

Gladys Justice Hansen, age 68, of Flat Rock, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 18, 2011 at her home. She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Reverend Charles F. T. Justice and Jennie Louise Johnson Justice. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Laughter, Louise Justice, Lucille Justice, Charlotte Justice and Shirley Justice and her brother, Charles Justice. Mrs. Hansen retired from General Electric after 26 years' employment, and while at GE she served on the United Way Fundraising Committee. She was of the Baptist faith. She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Hansen is survived by her husband, Robert Hansen of Flat Rock; five children, Margaret Campbell Higdon and husband Donald and Samuel H. Campbell, Jr., all of Hendersonville; Rev. Ricky W. Campbell and wife Millie of Mountain City, TN; Kenneth Campbell and wife Sandy and Jennie Campbell, all of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Shashawna Odell, Tiffany Wallace Heather Odell, Jessica Holbert, Melissa Campbell, Jonathan Campbell, Christopher Campbell, Bethany Campbell and Jackson Stump; great-grandchildren, Dakota Kitchens, Chase Wallace, C. J. Grier, McKayla Campbell and Lizabeth Campbell; sisters: Patricia Jurima, Ruth McCraw and Pearl Laughter; brother, Fred Justice of Flat Rock; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Flat Rock Freewill Baptist Church, 709 W. Blue Ridge Road, E. Flat Rock, NC with Reverend Ricky Campbell and Reverend Alan Taylor (Hospice Chaplain) officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 pm Wednesday prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S.
