Retha Belle Lee August 19, 1935 - December 22, 2011 Below is Retha's Prayer to Jesus Christ Dear Lord Jesus, You know my heart. I ask you to fill it with love for others, let it see the needs of those around me. In some small way, let me be able to help them. Please never let me look away as I did that man in the wheelchair. I am truly sorry for all my turning away when you whispered to me and I ignored the calling. Never let me do it again. Lord Jesus, let me live out the rest of my life helping those in need and giving you all the praise and glory and not myself. Help me to keep quite, when quite is needed and to speak up when I should. Lord, I also ask your blessing on Steven. That a protection of angels be around him always and keep him safe from harm. Lord, give him the ability to learn, so he can be up there, with the best of them. Be with Teresa and Candice also Lord, for we all make mistakes and need forgiveness from you. I know not where you will lead me Lord. I am willing to go and do what you have me to do, if it's your will Lord. Jesus, I need a place to call home while here on earth and so does Sheila and Stephanie. Help me Lord Jesus to find just the right place. Lord Jesus, give Teresa a good clean job; one that will glorify your name. This Lord Jesus is all in your hands. I ask that everything I have written down will be what you want Lord Jesus and that it will be pleasing in your sight. How it all will take place or occur, I know not, but you do. Help me to pray always for those in need. Thank you Lord for helping me thus far. Let me continue to walk a straight path that leads to you. Give me hope where there is doubt. Give me love where there is hate. Give me strength where there is weakness. Give me happiness where there is sadness. Accomplishment where there is failure. Most of all Lord Jesus, safely, let me walk with thee. Give Herb a giving heart for his children and let us become friends. Let him know I'm not his enemy, but his friend. Lord Jesus, let me visit Linda and her family, let it be the best one ever. Let me know when to go in the name of Jesus I close. Thank you Lord Jesus.
