Sally Loretta Roark

Sally Loretta Roark, age 72, of Trade, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 22, 2011. She was born on October 3, 1939 to the late Roby and Mae Stringer Norris. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Quintton Roark, who passed away in 2005; daughter, Debbie Roark Hicks; a grandson, Shannon Roark and several brothers and sisters. Sally loved going places and especially loved to go to yard sales. She loved more than anything to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sally was a member of Zionville Baptist Church. Sally is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Bill Roark and special friend, Monica Nichols of Mountain City, TN and Robert and Debbie Roark of Trade, TN; sister, Wilma Gibson of Damascus, VA; grandchildren: Kevin Roark of Deep Gap, NC, Tabatha Roark of Mountain City, TN, Stephanie O'Brien and husband Michael of Trade, TN; great grandchildren: Austin, Makala, Kindell, Alelia, Tessa and Martina; several nieces and nephews and many special friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Porter and Rev. Carl Johnson to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Roark Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family. Honorary Pallbearer is Makala O'Brien.
