Joseph Bruce Donnelly

Joseph Bruce Donnelly, age 79, of Zionville, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. He was born on October 28, 1932 to the late Bruce Charles Donnelly and Torrence Wilson Donnelly. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his sisters: Virginia Lewis and Grace Wilson and a brother, Raymond Donnelly. Joseph retired from the United States Air Force following 20 years of service. He was a member of Mountain City Church of Christ. Joseph is survived by his wife, Joan Donnelly; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Anita Donnelly of Zionville, NC; sisters: Ruth Duncan of Zionville, NC, Belle Ragan of Trade, TN and Margaret Wallace of Vilas, NC; grandchildren: Justin Donnelly and Heather Herman and husband Jason, all of Zionville, NC; great grandchildren: Sidney Herman of Zionville, NC and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 from the New Donnelly Family Cemetery of Zionville, North Carolina, with Tommy Johnson, Minister and Pastor Jeffrey Wilson to officiate.
