Stacy Miller

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Stacy Ballard Miller, age 73, of Trade, Tennessee, left us to join his mother, father, sisters and brothers in Heaven and to be forever in the presence of Jesus Christ, His Savior on January 18, 2012. He was born on June 11, 1938 to the late Charles and Lettie Canter Miller. In addition to his parents, Stacy was preceded in death by sisters: Charlotte Dunn, Dollie South and Evelyn Dowell and brothers: Charles Miller Jr. and Ronnie Miller. Stacy's last words of wisdom to us were to Trust In God'. His favorite pastimes were fishing and gardening. He was former employee of Phoenixville Steel Plant and also had drove a truck and worked in textile manufacturing. Stacy was a member of Centerview Church of Christ. Stacy is survived by his wife, Shirley Miller; daughters and sons-in-law: Rainnie and David Chatham, Deborah and John Cannet, and Stacie and Jackie Wallace; sisters: Judy Cornett, Marie Rominger, Mary Greer; brother and sister-in-law, Lane and Barbara Miller; grandchildren: Jennifer Eller, Charles Stacy Miller, Jessica Gomes and husband Hayden, Shianti Snyder, Kip Arney Jr. and Shania Osborne; great grandchild, Dixie Eller and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Minister Bill Reece to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Reece Cemetery, Trade, Tennessee. Active Pallbearers will be John Cannet, David Chatham, Rick Hoosier, Jessie Wallace, Kevin Osborne, Matt Pennington, Tony Bolick and Johnny Miller. Honorary Pallbearers are Lane Miller, Terry Walker, Crosby Chatham, Kip Arney Jr. and Stacy's other nephews and great nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
