Ronald A. Mitchell, age 75, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012. He was born on February 21, 1936 to Robert A. Mitchell and Anna Galeone Mitchell. Survivors include his wife Mary Helen Mitchell of Mountain City; two daughters, Jane C. Mnich, and husband John of Freehold, NJ, and Linda Quick, of Edison NJ; four sons, William H. Cook, of Waynesboro, VA, Robert A. Mitchell, of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Rondal Cook, of Elizabethton, and Charles Joseph Cook of Mountain City; four sisters, Roberta Mitchell Gerold of King's Park, Long Island, NY, Sandra Mitchell Cody, of Philadelphia, PA, Adrianne Mitchell of Philadelphia, PA, and Joan Mitchell Vannoy of Chula Vista, CA; one brother, Roy Mitchell of Dallas, TX; and eleven grandchildren also survive. The funeral mass will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. from the Mountain City Funeral Home chapel Deacon Mike Frazier to officiate.
