Marjorie Lola Vanover Marjorie Lola Vanover, age 66, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Marjorie was born May 27, 1945 to Lola Lewis Hess and the late Harold Hess. She was married for 46 years and loved her family and grandchildren. She loved to sew, cook and to garden. She was the treasurer, a Sunday school teacher and pianist at Heath Union Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Hess; her grandparents, Garnett and Blanche Hess and Carlie and Bethel Lewis and a nephew, Richard Vanover. She is survived by her husband, Homer Vanover; her daughter, Linda Trivette, and husband Larry and her son Wayne Vanover and wife Melisa; mother, Lola Lewis Hess; grandchildren, Justin and Stephen Vanover; sisters, Joan Vanover and husband R.B. and Rita Trivette and husband Bill; nieces and nephews, Melissa Trivette, Michael Vanover, Joseph Vanover, David Trivette, Elizabeth Trivette, Rachel Hull, Rebecca Jenkins and Derek Hess. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carter V. Wells and Rev. James Gentry officiating. The graveside service and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Justin Vanover, Stephen Vanover, Michael Vanover, Joseph Vanover, David Trivette and Charlie Ray Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Heath Union Church. Music will be provided by Gaining Ground.
