Andrew Wayne Todd

Andrew Wayne Todd, age 40 of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 11, 2012. He was born on February 2, 1972 to Darrell W. Todd and Linda Brunson Herron. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Brunson. Andrew had attended George Washington University and was a current employee of the Tennessee Department of Corrections Northeast Correctional Complex, where he was employed as a Correctional Officer. Andrew was a United States Army Veteran and had served for four years. In addition to his parents, Linda L. Herron of Butler, TN and Darrell Todd of Cape Coral, FL, Andy is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Bill Oeffinger of KY; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Linda C. Herron of Butler, TN; one niece, Christina Lade and Husband Michael of Pendleton, IN; two nephews: Sterling Herron of Butler, TN and Bill Oeffinger and wife Kellie of Pickens, SC. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Mountain City Funeral Home. A Private Family Memorial Service will be conducted later on Saturday with Rev. Ralph Howard to officiate. Military Honors will be conducted by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
