Brian Reece

Brian Stephen Reece, age 48, of Mountain City, TN, surrounded by his family, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer.. Brian was born on April 21, 1963 to Steve and Elaine Reece. Brian enjoyed cars, farming, gardening and had a passion for building. He also enjoyed visiting his friends and socializing. He was the Johnson County High School's Girls Basketball Team's #1 fan. More than anything, Brian enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and his special daughter. He tried to enjoy each day to the fullest. Brian was a member of Ackerson Creek Christian Church. In addition to his parents, Steve and Elaine Reece of Trade, TN, Brian is survived by his loving wife, Donna Reece; his daughter, Brionna Reece; sons and daughters-in-law: Sean and Bridget Kleine and Jay and Kim Kleine; brothers and sisters-in-law: Steve Jr. and Lorie Reece, Barry and Brenda Reece and Quint and Luci Reece; grandchildren: Chase Kleine, Hazlee Kleine and Kendyl Kleine; nieces and nephews: Matthew Reece, Jeremy Reece, Nancy Reece, Trevor Reece, Joe Nickle, Kristin Nickle, Lisa Nickle, Jill Nickle; special cousins: Rick and wife Chrissy Roop and their children: Jeremy and Logan, Johnny and Donna Jennings and their children: Jessi, Jake and Josh, Pat Scott and her daughter, Nicky, Gary Osborne and his children: Amanda and Wayne and Debbie Pennington; sister-in-law, Dianna Nickle; several special aunts and uncles; very special friends, Bill and Glenda Reece and their families and many, many more friends, too numerous to name. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Minister Bill Reece to officiate. Pallbearers are: John Forrester, Rick Widener, Brandon Furches, Nathan Pratter, Skip Coverdale, Mike Poteet, Rick Roop, Shannon Harper, Alan Pearson and Chris Reece. Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Jim Shine and Members of Johnson County Rescue Squad and EMS.
