Greg Burchett

Greg Burchett, age 63, of Mountain City, Tennessee, and formerly of Bradenton, Florida, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus on Thursday, June 7, 2012. He was born on June 6, 1949 in Russellville, Kentucky to the late James and Doris Gregory Burchett. Greg spent most of his life in Bradenton, Florida but loved living in the mountains of east Tennessee in Mountain City. Greg was a member of First Assembly of God, where he also served on the church board. He loved his Lord and Savior and tried to live each day serving the Lord. He enjoyed helping people whenever he could and volunteered with the Meals on Wheels Program. Greg is survived by his wife, Lin' Burchett, of the home; stepdaughter, Kimberly LaCombe of Massachusetts; sisters: Toni Dutcher of Robbinsville, North Carolina and Vicky Keys of Bradenton, Florida; brother, Gariel Burchett of Alpharetta, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; his church family and many friends. A Memorial Service for Greg Burchett will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Harry Hillman to officiate. A Memorial Service will also be conducted in Florida on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. from the Harvest Chapel Christian Fellowship (1300 17th Avenue W, Bradenton, FL) with Pastor Brian Royer to officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Greg's memory to First Assembly of God Church, P.O.
