Kyle R. Swift

Kyle Richard Swift, age 55, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Johnson County Community Hospital. He was born on August 28, 1956 to Herman Kyle Swift and Ruth Arney Robbins. Kyle was preceded in death by his father Herman Kyle Swift and step-father Clinton Stephen Robbins. Kyle was a graduate of Johnson County High School. He had served his country in the United States Army and the Tennessee and North Carolina National Guard. Kyle enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his grandson, Stephen. Kyle is survived by his mother, Ruth Arney Robbins of Mountain City; a close friend, Cindy Sue Werst of Washington State; one son, Robert "Bobby" Swift and wife Casey of Mountain City; one sister, Keitha Ruth Pennell of Pink Hill, NC.; three brothers, Herman Craig Swift, Kip Arney, Sr, and Stephen Robbins and wife Teresa, all of Mountain City; one grandson, Stephen Swift of Mountain City; two nieces, Shaundra Price, and Sarah Sue Brown; three nephews, Johnathan Price, Stephen Robbins, and Kip Arney, Jr.; one special uncle, Glenn Arney; several cousins and several aunts and uncles also survive. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Tennessee Army National Guard Armory in Mountain City, TN. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Graveside service and interment with military honors provided by the Tennessee National Guard and the Johnson County Honor Guard will be conducted on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilson Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Members of the 776th Maintenance Company of the Tennessee Army National Guard. Honorary Pallbearers are: Jerry Proffitt, Larry Wilson, Baxter Byrd, Jeff Nelson, Roy Ward, Bill Raymond, and members of the Dry Run Volunteer Fire Department.
