Zach Hill

Zach Hill, age 19, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on November 28, 1992 in Elizabethton, TN to Eric Hill and the late Christy Pardue Hill. Zach loved to work on cars, especially Honda cars. He enjoyed spending time and hanging out with his friends. In addition to his father, Eric Hill of Mountain City, TN, Zach is survived by his brother, Tristan Lee Hill, maternal grandparents, Boyd and Carolyn Pardue and paternal grandparents, Joe and Kathy Hill and Carolyn and Bryan Adams; maternal great grandparents, Charlie and Juanita Pardue; aunts: Amanda Laws and husband David and Tammy Glasford and husband Tim; cousins: Nathan, LaShay and Marky and several other cousins and a number of special friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 3, 2012 at Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Frank Woods and Jim Swoager officiating. Music will be provided by David Pardue. Graveside service and interment will be conducted on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jacob Rash, Jeffrey Roark, Ricky Shelton, Robert Shelton, Clyde Lipford and Adam Hampton. Honorary pallbearers are Tristan Hill, Brad Lowe, Nathan Pardue, Marky Glasford and Coty Brewer. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Boyd and Carolyn Pardue, 292 Hampton Street, Mountain City, TN and at the home of Joe and Kathy Hill, 368 Harbin Dive, Mountain City, TN 37683. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Zach's memory to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
