Orville D. Poppy' Wallace, age 92, of Trade, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 14, 2012 at his residence. He was born on February 14, 1920 to the late John and Ellen Wilson Wallace. In addition to his parents, Orville was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Bonnie Marie Wallace, who passed away on December 31, 2009; brothers: Bert, Rayburn, Marion and Wade Wallace. Orville loved to farm and was a Pastor for 54 years at White Rock Baptist Church in North Carolina. He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. He is survived by his special nephew, niece, and caregiver: Kevin Potter and wife Aundrea of Trade, TN; 5 sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Derick Wilson to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2012 from the Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Rev. Leonard Fletcher, Pastor Tony Potter, Pastor T.J. Wilson, Pastor Ray Greene, Tim Price, and A.B. Hodges. Honorary Pallbearers are members of the Trade Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders, Johnson County Rescue Squad, Rodger Potter and Trowa Potter.
