Sharon Annette Woodards, age 43, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. She was born on September 21, 1969 to the late Delmer Woodards and Dorothy Arnold Brown. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by a brother, James Brown and step-father, Howard Brown. Sharon was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family and taking care of them. She was often known by her children and grandchildren as the Bomb-Diggity-Bomb Mom'. She also loved spending time with her extended family and loved a good joke. She will be missed by all. She is survived by companion, Jamey Bryan; daughter, Chasity Simpson and friend Brandon Main; sons: Jason Woodards and companion Shena Rose, Mark Woodards and friend Ashley Johnson and Corey Simpson and fiancé Kayla Phillips; brothers: Mike Brown and Gary Brown; grandchildren: Tristan Woodards, Gavin Woodards, Kylie Woodards, Chloe Main and Seth Canter; special family: Stephanie O'Brien, Laura Lee South, Jody Simpson, Melissa Brown, Kayla Simpson, Lindsey Hampton, Jennifer Newman, Rooster Johnson, Chip Madison, Anthony Spicer and many more; several nieces and nephew and many special friends. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from the Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Harry Wills to officiate. A eulogy will be given by Stephanie O'Brien. Special music will be provided by Doug Jones. Entombment will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012 from the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be sons: Jason Woodards, Mark Woodards, and Corey Simpson; companion, Jamey Bryan and friends, Brandon Main and Jeremy Mercer. Honorary Pallbearers: Jody Simpson, Jamie Brother' Johnson and Chip Madison. Memorials may be made to the Johnson County Cancer Support Group, c/o Flo Bellamy, 3510 Hwy 421 N., Mountain City, TN 37683. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Sharon and Jamey, 2544 Antioch Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.
