Doyle Lee Roark

Doyle Lee Roark, age 62, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. He was born on January 17, 1950 to the late Raymond and Nanny Kilby Roark. In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by his brothers: T.D. Roark, Eugene Roark and Dailey Roark. Doyle loved spending time outdoors especially with his family. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed. Doyle is survived by his wife, Lois D. Roark; son and daughter-in-law, Steven Doyle Roark and Kathy of Mountain City, TN; grandchildren: Austin Roark and fiancé Lexie Johnson and Gregory Roark; one niece; two nephews, many special friends and his loyal friend and dog, BJ. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Mountain City Funeral Home. A Graveside Service with Interment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012 from the Reece Memorial Cemetery with Mr. Phil Winters officiating. Active pallbearers will be Terry Henson, Claude Shearin Jr., Chris Bunn, Michael Campbell, Kenneth Johnson, Buzz Campbell and Jessie Shomate. Honorary pallbearers are Austin Roark, Greg Roark, Tyler Shomate and Ethan Green. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 2245 Ackerson Creek Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.
