Terry Wilson

Terry Eugene Wilson, age 72, of Mountain City, Tennessee, died October 29, 2012 at Watauga Medical Center in Boone, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Harold Eugene Wilson and Myrtle Waldrop Wilson. Terry was born in Piedmont, South Carolina on September 13, 1940. Immediately following high school he proudly served in the United States Army. Terry graduated from NCSU with a degree in textiles. He is survived by his wife, Mary DeAnna Wilson of the home: two daughters and sons-in-law: Tonya and Michael Proctor and Tracey and Tony Horton; three step children: Melissa Welborn and husband Wayne, Patricia Dilling and husband Jason and Mr. Aaron Grant and wife Julie and sisters and brothers-in-law: Kaye and Bo Bellamy and Rebecca and Edgar Osborne. Terry was loved and adored by thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. from the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Griffis, Pastor of Mountain City Baptist Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorials in Terry's memory be made to the Mountain City Baptist Church Building Fund, 936 N Church Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
