Bobby J. Lowe, age 75, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 11, 1937 in Johnson County, TN to the late Dewey Lowe and Anna Crosswhite Lowe. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers Granville Lowe and Joseph Lowe. Bob enjoyed farming and the last several years he was into tree farming. He also liked to hunt and be outdoors. Bob Loved the Lord and was not ashamed to proclaim His name. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Norma Lowe; daughters: Jennifer May, Christy Fletcher and husband Dean and Tammy Robinson and husband (English) John; son, Billy Wilson and wife Lisa all of Mountain City, TN; sisters: Lois Hill and husband Lewis of Johnson City, TN, Mary Krogmire of Butler, TN, Shelby Greene of Johnson City, TN and Peggy Roark and husband Dean of Trade, TN; grandchildren: Sandy Branch and husband William, Tammy Warren and husband Nathan, Jesse Wilson and wife Trista, Kayla Fletcher, Joseph Robinson, Brittany Fletcher, Cortney Wilson and Andrew Robinson; great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Natalie, Dylan, Hailey, Karlie, Clara Beth and Hunter; special niece, Sandy Garland and several other nieces and nephews. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00pm Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Ricky Campbell and Pastor Derl McCloud and Bob's son-in-law, Preacher Dean Fletcher to officiate. Music will be provided by Andrew Robinson, Cortney Wilson, Brittany Fletcher and Joe Robinson. Graveside Service & Interment will be Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the Shoun-McEwen cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Wilson, John Robinson, Andrew Robinson, William Branch, Nathan Warren, Jesse Wilson, Tony Walls and Dean Roark. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark McEwen, Dr. Jim Shine, Dr. Michael Ponder, Andrew Zanotti, Cecil Farmer, Ernest Pennington, Harold Farmer, Tony Parchman, Jim Vincill, Paul Graybeal, David Adams and many special friends. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla St., Mountain City, TN 37683.
