Loneita Walsh Owens

Loneita Walsh Owens, 74, of Sawmills passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was born August 18, 1938 in Shouns, TN to the late Carl and Ollie Furches Walsh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emit Owens, two sons, a grandson, a brother, and a sister. Survivors include three sisters, Louise Eller of Mt. City, TN, Janet Martin of Ashland, OH, and Georgia Shomate of Mt. City, TN; three brothers, Orville Walsh of Grungy, VA, Richard Walsh of Mt. City, TN, and James Walsh of Mt. City, TN; seven children, Phyllis Stutz and her husband, Bob of Lenoir, Ron Owens and his wife, Pat of Lenoir, Earl Owens and his wife, Diane Of Hickory, Karen Williams and her husband, Pete of Granite Falls, Lisa Mcquillen and her husband, Jeff of Granite Falls, Darrell Owens of Ashland, OH, and Mike Owens and his wife, Terri of Ashland, OH; eighteen grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, November 8, 2012 in the Bass-Smith Granite Chapel with Reverend Calvin Hargett officiating. Burial will follow at Rainbow Cemetery in Mt. City, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 7pm until 8:30pm at Bass-Smith Granite.
