Roberta Ingrid McComas

Roberta Ingrid McComas, age 66, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at Mountain City Care Center. She was born October 28, 1946 in Johnson County, TN to Robert Keith Burgess and Kathleen Vanover Burgess. Ingrid was preceded in death by her mother Kathleen Burges, who passed away on March 6, 2009, and her brother-in-law, Curtis Sluder. Ingrid graduated from Johnson County High School in 1964. She was employed at Blackburn Super Market for 17 years and Levi Strauss for another 17 years. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bud McComas, her father Keith Burgess of Mountain City, TN, three sisters: Linda Sluder of Shady Valley, TN, Karen Anderson and husband Terry of Shady Valley, TN, and Monette Gentry and Husband Ronnie of Hickory, NC: two brothers: Dennis Burgess and wife Kate and Brent Burgess and wife Donna, all of Mountain City, TN and several her nieces and nephews.
