Billy Ray Davis, age 36, of Mountain City, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Billy Ray was born June 29, 1976 in Johnson City, TN to Robert Davis and Ella Mae Tester Davis. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Davis; daughter, Amber Davis, son, Dustie Ray Davis; step-son Matthew Johnson, all of Mountain City; father and mother Robert and Ella Mae Davis, of Kentucky; sisters: Carrie Davis and Kelly Davis, of Kentucky, brother, Vonnie Davis, of Kentucky; grand- daughter, Allie Anna Johnson of Mountain City, Rebecca's parents, Herbert Nichols and wife Dawn, of Mountain City, one nephew Casey Davis. The family will receive friends Wednesday December 5, 2012 from 1 until 2 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Ray Vaught to officiate. Graveside service and interment will follow from the Roberts Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David "Hawk" Schnur, Shawn Jennings, Jeff Johnson, Jamie Allen, Dave Smith, Johnny Church, Mike Reece, Charlie South and Brandon Williams.
