Lorrine Short

Lorrine Mary Short, age 75, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born on July 4, 1937 to the late Sally Cornett. In addition to her mother, Lorrine was preceded in death by her longtime friend and companion, Charles E. Short a daughter, Linda Short. Lorrine enjoyed being outdoors and liked fishing. She loved her family very much and took great pride in taking care of them. Lorrine is survived by daughter, Sandy Short of Mountain City, TN; sons: Charles A. Buck' Short of Shady Valley, TN, Kent Short and wife Wanda of Mountain City, TN and Mike Short and wife Tania of Anaconda, MT; brother, Louis Cornett of Mountain City, TN; five granddaughters; two grandsons, nineteen great grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews. It was Lorrine's wish to be cremated. There will be no visitation or formal services. Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com.
