Mildred Kathleen Moran

Mildred "Kay' Moran, age 84, of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at her residence. She was born on January 14, 1929 in Westfield, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James D. Moran, who passed away on June 14, 2012. Kay is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Kay Duncan and David; sons and daughter-in-law, Roger C. Moran, Dennis E. Moran and James C. and Susan Moran; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and her dogs, Hannah and Heidi, whom she loved dearly. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Saturday February 2, 2013 at the Mountain City Funeral Home. Graveside service and Interment will follow at the Reece Memorial Cemetery (Liberty Church Road). Pallbearers will be family and friends of Kay. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 1313 Sugar Creek Road, Laurel Bloomery, TN 37680.
