Billy Rash

Billy R. Rash, age 78, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on February 14, 2013 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born on October 16, 1934 to the late James and Annie Stout Rash. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by two sisters: Zelma Young and Betty Shutt and two brothers: Leslie Rash and Dean Rash. Billy honorably served and retired from the United States Air Force. Following his military career, Billy served as a U.S. Marshal for many years. Billy enjoyed being around his family and friends and liked to watch wrestling on television. He is survived by his sisters: Mary Reece of Mountain City, TN and Ruth Caudill of Oxford, PA and brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Lura Johnson of Mountain City, TN; brother-in-law Jack Shutt, special friend, Bob Heck and several nieces and nephews. It was Billy's wishes to be cremated and that no formal services be conducted. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mountaincityfh.com.
