Kenny Wilson, age 61, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on August 9, 1951 to Ora May Walls Wilson and the late Edward Wilson. Kenny enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid hunter and also enjoyed various sports. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Kenny was a member of the Taylorsville Masonic Lodge #243 F & AM. He attended and was a member of Heavenly Light Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, Ora Mae Wilson, Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Becky Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Kendra and Wayne Kumm; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny Ray and Nellie Wilson; brother Mike Robinson; grandchildren: Hanna Bryant and Hunter Wilson; brothers-in-law: Lynn Reece and wife Patty, Bobby Reece and John Johnson; sisters-in-law: Virginia Oliver and husband Albert, Faye Warren and husband Claude, Emogene Miller and husband Bob and Louise May; special friends: Larry Potter, Jason Bryant, Wayne Guy, Debbie Roark and Bob and Kim Brown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Terry Steele to officiate. Masonic Services will follow the funeral and will be conducted by the Taylorsville Masonic Lodge F & AM. Music will be under the direction of Leonard and Lisa Arnold. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Wilson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bob Graybeal, Bill Pope, Kevin Hampton, Randy Lee, Terry Stout and David Manuel. Honorary Pallbearers are: all the nurses and staff of the Regional Cancer Center, Dr. Chakraborty and all of Kenny's friends and co-workers of Northeast Correctional Complex. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 485 Swift Hollow Road, Mountain City, TN 37683. Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com.
