Carolyn Jone (Johnson) Dixon

Carolyn Jone (Johnson) Dixon, age 55, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, and formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2013. She was born in Mountain City, Tennessee on May 11, 1957 to Pauline Tedder Johnson and the late Sam Johnson. Carolyn loved writing and reading her bible. She also enjoyed flowers. In addition to her mother, Pauline Johnson, she is survived by her husband, Randall Keith Dixon; sons: Justin Austin, Michael Guy and David Guy; sisters: Betty Johnson and Deborah Johnson; brothers: Rex Johnson, Leonard Johnson, Eugene Johnson and Doug Johnson; grandchildren: Brandon Guy, Dustin Guy, Kevin Guy and Maddie Guy; eleven nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many special friends. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Russell Sheets to officiate. Special music will be provided by Carolyn's niece, Bridget Simpson. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Family Cemetery located on Sam Johnson Lane, Mountain City, TN. Pallbearers will be Garrett Johnson, Jeremy Campbell, Wayne Johnson, Herman Stout, Nathan Salyer and Jason Thompson.
