Samuel Ray Noland Jr. Samuel Ray Noland Jr., age 64, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital of Abingdon, Virginia. He was born on May 6, 1948 to the late Samuel and hazel Rupard Noland Sr. Samuel loved the outdoors and especially loved to ride horses. He was a member of the Ackerson Creek Church of Christ. Samuel is survived by his wife, Ruby Noland; step daughters: Betty Farmer and husband Randy, Dorothy Johnson and Linda Taylor and husband Richard; grandchildren: Brandon Lipford, Wayne Johnson, Cory Johnson, Deanna Taylor, and Ricky Taylor; great grandchildren: Gage Rooster' Lipford; special friends: Randy Farmer and Rooster Lipford. It was Samuel's wishes that no formal services be conducted. Interment will be in the Cornett Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mountaincityfh.com .
