Raymond Franklin Marshall Sr. Raymond Franklin Marshall Sr., age 94, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Mountain City Care Center. He was born on October 15, 1918 to the late Grover Cleveland and Sara Ann Stooksberry Marshall. Raymond was a retired construction worker. He loved being outdoors, especially fishing. Raymond always liked to stay busy and also enjoyed mechanic work and tinkering on various things. He is survived by his children: Jane Campbell and husband David, Raymond Marshall Jr. and wife Christine, Steve Marshall and wife Cathy, Leroy Marshall and wife Cheryll, Marion Marshall, Loretta Cockrum and husband John, Mary Ann Smith, Bud Osborne and wife Cathy, Dan Osborne and wife Mary, Pete Osborne, Marie Phipps and husband Wilson and Sue Dugger; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and special friends, John Allen, Harold Wilson and George Lowe. Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Mountain City Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 on Friday, prior to the service. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Phillippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Marshall, Steve Marshall, David Campbell, Mark Phipps, Wilson Phipps and Eugene Campbell. Honorary Pallbearers are John Cockrum, Bill Allen and George Lowe. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations in Raymond's memory be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
