Suma C. Reece Suma Camilla Reece, age 85, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 27, 2013. A native of Johnson County, Tennessee, she was born on September 11, 1927. Suma was preceded in death by her parents: Jacob and Belle Lowe and James and Gladys Lowe; her husband, Charles F. Reece; brothers and sisters: Trula Isaacs, Kin Lowe, Gulita Pleasant, Charlie Pleasant, Estel Pleasant, Gladys Cornett, Pansy Pleasant, Joe Pleasant, Roxie Pleasant and Bennie Pleasant. Suma enjoyed collecting dolls, swans and glassware. She also liked to sew, read and work word puzzles. She was a member of Valley View United Methodist Church. Suma is survived by her children: Terry Reece of Mountain City, TN; Charles R. Reece and wife Louise of Columbus, IN, Jeffrey Reece and wife Susan of Kodak, TN; Audrey Reece of Mountain City, TN, Kathi Wallace of Mountain City, TN; Lisha Johnson and husband Vince of Mountain City, TN and Judy Billings and husband Steve of Bristol, VA; grandchildren: Craig Reece, Michael Reece, Michelle Capino, Anthony Reece, Faith Sanchez, Jonna McMurray, Jesse Wallace; Darrel Sizemore, Jeff Collins and Greg Collins; great grandchildren: Caleb Reece, Aili McMurray, Yesenia Sanchez, Gregory Sanchez and Carter Wallace; sister, Helen Triplett of Elizabethton, TN; sisters-in-law: Novella Reece and Mary Reece; several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Mountain City Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Phyllis Hankins and Pastor Billy Morefield to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Phillippi Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Craig Reece, Caleb Reece, Vince Johnson, Jesse Wallace, Tony McMurray, Terry Reece, Jeffrey Reece and Charles Reece. Honorary pallbearers are: Dr. Mark Harter, Dr. Peter Ashline, Johnson County Home Health Nurses, Johnson County Rescue Squad, Brenda Howard, Charlene Blankenbeckler, Steve Billings and Arthur Baxter. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Suma's memory may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
