Richard B. White

Richard Bruce White, age 69, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born on May 30, 1944 to the late Virgil S. and Cordella Main White. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Scottie Stout. Richard enjoyed working with wood and refinishing antique furniture. He enjoyed being outdoors and liked to go to drag races, car shows and fishing. Richard also enjoyed watching animals when he was outdoors. He was a United States Army Veteran. Richard is survived by his wife, Nancy K. White; daughters and son-in-law: Jessica and W. David Dishman of Jefferson, NC and Amanda Stout of Mountain City, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Randy B. and Rebecca White of Horse Cove, KY; grandchildren: Robbie White, Garrett White, Mitchell Keen, Madison Keen, Piper Stout, Gauge Stout and Rowan Stout; and many special friends. It was Richard's wishes to be cremated and that no formal services be held. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to Nancy White, 1702 Shingle Town Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.
