Mary Louise Baker Dugger, age 91, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013. She was born on September 5, 1921 to the late Carl V. and Lillie Snyder Baker. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John Norman Dugger, and a son, Victor Caroll Norman Dugger. Mary was a lifelong resident of Johnson County and Graduate of Watauga Academy of Butler. She was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church. Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda Sweetman of Tustin,CA; stepdaughter, Mary Carroll of Butler, TN; son, Gerald Steve Dugger of the home; several grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Sugar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Greene and Rev. Alan Koch to officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Music will be provided by the Sugar Grove Baptist Church Choir. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Sugar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Deacons of Sugar Grove Baptist Church and Bakers Gap Baptist Church. The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to special friends, Lisa Matherly, Natasia May, Gage McDaniel, Jesse McDaniel, Bill and Linda Dugger, Danny Lowe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary's memory may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
