Charlie ' Jerry ' Mahala

Charlie Jerry' Mahala, age 61, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at his home, following a lengthy illness. He was born on October 17, 1951 to the late Tom and Florence Rutter Mahala. Jerry served on the Johnson County Rescue Squad for many years. He is survived by his wife, Marie Mahala; son Rick Mahala; sisters and brothers-in-law: Josephine and Earl Arnold, Mary Dunn, Annis Mains and Linda and Ron Ault; several nieces and nephews; his friends and family of the Johnson County Rescue Squad and many others. Visitation and Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Mountain City Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jerry's memory may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
