Beatrice 'Crete' Forrester

Beatrice Crete' Forrester, age 84, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Mountain City Care Center. She was born on April 3, 1929 to the late Will and Pearl Tester Smith. In addition to her parents, Crete was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Forrester; sisters: Bertha Cornett, Georgia McElyea, Opal Austin and Dorothy Guyand by her brothers: Wade Smith, Kermit Smith and Bruce Smith. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Judy Cornett and husband Steve; Jo Ann Mangan, Peggy Wallace and husband Tim; Jackie Coffey and Sandra Laws; sister, Virginia Brown; brother and sister-in-law: Robert Barton Smith and wife Grace; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Before her declining health, Crete loved reading her bible and going to church to worship. She was a member of Pleasant View Christian Church. When she was able, Crete also enjoyed working in her flower gardens. Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 from the Snyder Cemetery with Pastors Gary Bowman and Roy Dowell officiating.
