Claude Warren, age 82, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on February 28, 1931 to the late William Luther Warren and Clara Crowder Warren. In addition to his parents, Claude was preceded in death by a step-mother, Ella Mock Warren; son-in-law, Donnie Osborne; sister, Mildred Treadway and brothers: Edgar Warren, Glenn Warren and Raymond Warren. Claude enjoyed showing Saddlebred horses and antique automobiles. His pride and joy was his grandchildren and he loved spending time with them and spoiling them. Claude was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Claude is survived by his wife of 52 years Faye Reece Warren; daughters and son-in-law: Debbie and Melvin Humphrey and Diane Osborne and fiancé Pete Pavusek and his children, Petie and Peyton; sister, Wilma Tester; brother, Ernest Warren and wife Ruth; grandchildren: Shane Humphrey and girlfriend Rebecca Royston, Isaac Osborne, Aaron Osborne, Rebekah Humphrey and boyfriend Brad Lipford; great grandchild, Carson Lipford; several cousins, nieces and nephews, and host of friends. Funeral Service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastors Jim Norman, Bob Taylor and Harry Wills officiating. Special reading will be by Joe Crosswhite. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastors Jim Norman and Bill Worley officiating. Pallbearers will be Shane Humphrey, Isaac Osborne, Aaron Osborne, Lynn Reece, Doug Wilson, Brad Lipford, Pete Pavusek and Melvin Humphrey. Honorary Pallbearers: Jim Mixon, Skip Wills, Harvey Brown, Dale Phillips, Bud Mount, All of Claude's nephews, Men of Humphrey Masonry and all of the Farmers who have supported him through the years.
