Ruby Graybeal

Ruby Graybeal Ruby Graybeal, age 84, of Mountain City, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 18, 2013, in the Watauga Medical Center, Boone, NC,. She was born September 8, 1929 in Johnson County to the late Dolphus Lewis and Inez Smith Lewis. In addition to her parents Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Graybeal, sister, Ruth Lewis, brothers, Bruce Lewis and Dana Lewis and a nephew, David Lewis. She worked for many years as a hairdresser. Mrs. Graybeal was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Toll Lewis and wife Hilda, Kyle Lewis and Kathy Shupe, Earl Dean Lewis and wife Opal, Wallace Lewis and wife Ruby, all of Mountain City, TN, and nieces and nephews, Betty Goff, Judy Danberry, Kathy Henson, Rhonda Proffitt, Wanda Greer, Lisa Lewis, Missy Timbs, William Lewis, Kelly Moore, and several great nieces and great nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Josh Giddings officiating. Entombment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends at the home of Wallace and Ruby Lewis, 6554 Forge Creek Rd., Mountain City, TN.
