Gertrude Launa Gilley Gertrude Launa Gilley, age 72, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 31, 2013. She was born on April 15, 1941 to the late Otto and Mary Nichols Watson. In addition to her parents, Gertrude was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jimmy Price. Gertrude loved to work outside in her flower beds and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Barbara and Howard Rainbolt, Eva Price and JoAnn and James Stanton; sons and daughter-in-law: Jimmy and Leona Widener and Joshua Gilley; sisters: Cleo McQueen and Cordella Rugg; brother, Howard Watson; grandchildren: Eric Watson, Amanda Price, Christina Price, Sarah Widener, Beth Price and Max Stanton; great grandchildren: Austin Watson, DJ Watson, Preston Watson, Austin Dotson, Killa Price, Daniel Price and Derek Price; special friends: John Wagner and Shirley and Rick Potter; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2013 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Guinn to officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Howard Rainbolt, John Wagner, James Stanton, Eric Watson, Austin Watson and Max Stanton. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Barry and Rick Potter.
