Bessie Reece

Bessie Faye Farmer Reece, age 87, of Trade, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was born on June 8, 1926 to the late Joe and Sarah Phillips Farmer. In addition to her parents, Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, Clay V. Reece; grandson, Brett Selfe; granddaughter, Nora Leah Reece; sister, Lessie McNeil and brothers: Reggie Farmer, Ed Farmer and Elmer Farmer. Bessie was a member of Centerview Church of Christ. She had several hobbies but really enjoyed working word search puzzles. Bessie is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Barbara Pyle, Karen Selfe, Crystal and Terry Dugger; son, Dean Lipford; two step-sons; three step-daughters; sister-in-law, Sally Farmer; grandchildren: Carl Dean Lipford, Dean Lipford Jr, Gary Lipford, Tina Lipford, Chasity Blevins, Andrew Caroll, Kristy Cross, Michael Reece Jr., Annette Patterson, Jeannie Gordon, Jordon Dugger and Megan Dugger, Austin Boo' Dugger, Leanna Lipford, Tristan Lipford; several great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; special nephew, Tom Reece and wife Jackie; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2013 from the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Bill Reece to officiate. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Reece Cemetery located in Trade, TN. Pallbearers are Tim Greene, Tom Reece, Jordon Dugger, Austin Dugger, Chasity Blevins and Megan Dugger. Honorary Pallbearers are Max Greene and Larry Reece.
