Wes Hamby

Wesley Justin Hamby, age 29, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 7, 2013 after a lengthy struggle with various illnesses. He was the son of Vickie Maze and adopted son of J.L. Hamby of Mountain City, TN and son of Albert Anthony of Boyd, TX. Wesley was preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn Anthony; grandfather, Jim Hamby; great grandparents, John and June maze and special cousin, Misty Bright. He attended Roan Creek Baptist Church, where he was welcomed and loved by so many. Wesley's memories will be cherished by his parents, Vickie Maze, J.L. Hamby and Albert Anthony; sisters: Opal Hamby, Megan Maze and Lindsey Wright, special friend, Joe Osborne; special niece, Kaleigh Dunn; brothers: Brian, Chris and Eric Anthony; maternal grandparents: Junior and Sue Maze; paternal grandparents, Lorraine Varnadore and Sid Anthony; aunts and uncles: Cheri Bright and husband Mitchell, Chuck Maze and wife Kristy, Nancy Eller, Robin Joyce, Mike Austin, Dakota Maze, Kasey Maze; cousins: Junie Phipps and husband Rudy, Joey Bright, Ashleigh Howard and husband Joe, Chris Maze and wife Sheena, Jason, Jadie, Chelsea, Christian Matheson, Steven, Hannah, Isaac and Jacob Phipps. A Memorial Service for Wesley will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the Roan Creek Baptist Church with Pastor David Hankal to officiate. Honorary Pallbearers are: Jason Greenwell, Eric Snyder, Joey Bright, Christopher Maze and Brian Anthony.
